For the first 5 games, 4 against FBS schools, the turnover battle was in A&M's favor. Against UCLA, 3 TOs for UCLA, 2 for A&M. Against Auburn, 1 TO for Auburn, none for A&M. 3 TOs for Arkansas, 2 for A&M.

Only against SC was it even.

The difference in this game is 3 TOs for Tennessee and 1 for A&M.

I nearly started this thread before the game but now it is bearing itself out. We have to win the TO battle in the seccond half in order to have a chance, IMO.

There you go...that's the difference. All of our TOs nhave made a huge difference.

So we have turned the ball over more than any team they've faced all year and there's nearly a whole half left.

We are just playing terrible undisciplined football - and they have capitalized all all the turnovers in good field position.

Edit: Now we have more turnovers than any 2 teams. Ugh. The most takeaways for Texas A&M since 2005
Again silver lining is we have managed to keep the score close (thanks defense) -- despite the horrible ball protection, we just need a TD to be one score down

True, but they just scored again off of a TO. We have been awful today insofar as the TO battle.
