Terry Fair previews Collin Hill starting against Tennessee

"[Hill] had more receiver talent around him at Colorado State than he does now."

That seems like a pretty big indictment of SC's WRs.
Our secondary should have a field day Sat. I'm curious to see if Pruitt plays bend bet don't break style early or if he turns em loose with lots of press man to man 8 in the box with 5 coming every time.

South Carolina was planning on starting a transfer from Wingate at receiver until his waiver was denied, that position is not going to be a strength for them.

Didnt he have Preston Williams & Micheal Gallup??
Michael Gallup - Cowboys
Preston Williams - Dolphins
Olabisi Johnson - Vikings

All are currently starters on NFL teams.

Hill was never the full-time starter at CSU. He was replaced in 2016 by Nick Stevens, due to an ACL injury I believe, missed all of 2017, played behind KJ Carta-Samuels in 2018, and tore his ACL a second time in game 3 last year.

Shi Smith is very good, in the mold of a Pharoah Cooper. OrTre Smith is a talented big-bodied WR who has fought injuries in his career. Mike Wyman is a talented freshman who could make an impact. The position has some available talent, bit very little experience and returning production outside of Shi Smith. With a new QB, especially in game 1, we should expect they would struggle.

Hill never really had any WRs around him at CSU, except the 3rd stringers that sat next to him on the CSU bench. That dude was hurt more than he wasn't.
