Nice words but you're talking about one guy who coached an sec team in the 90s commenting on another guy who coached an sec team in the 90s.

No doubt that Phil was a recruiting juggernaut and knew what it took to win (except when playing florida).

But there came a time when Phil's way of doing things went out of favor and he began to get his butt handed to him by Les Miles, Urban Meyer and Nick Saban.

It remains to be seen if he knows how to recruit/win in today's environment. This is one area where Phil's prior accolades and achievements may not hold any sway since most of these kids weren't even born when Phil was at the top of his game.

With all due respect (I mean no disrespect) I think you completely missed the main point, of course JMO.,,

The more I see of Phillip Fulmer (only on video) the more impressed I am with him.

He is a great ambassador for UT.

People really seem to like him when they meet him. I expect him to be involved in the recruiting process when asked by a coach.

I think Terry Bowden was right. We made a great hire! (Unfortunately, it cost Bev Davenport her job)

I can’t wait for the season to start!

Bev made some mistakes prior to making it right. I aporeciated what she did for (edit) the University, she was the only one with the stones to do what it took, to flip Haslam the bird. But she still made some errors.

Fulmer as AD is one of my main reasons for having any hope. If he can’t get thinks corrected then we’re officially the Cleveland Browns forever.

Phil has the ultimate blueprint to make him our most successful AD in school history. He simply needs to look back at everything Mike Hamilton did and do the opposite.
