Tennessee's offense has to get more explosive to win SEC games. Here's one fix.

How, though? We've tried to get it to him on a few bubble screens, but they're so telegraphed that the defense can see it from a mile away. The TE can open this offense up

The defense can see it from a mile away because that's all they've studied on film. It's not against the rules of the game for a back to travel beyond the line of scrimmage and catch a pass.

You are being overly critical. Every play when Dobbs attempts a pass longer than 5 yards is misdirection. :naughty:

I laughed. But I think it's more along the lines of any pass not at or behind the line of scrimmage. Unless of course the lull of between the tackles runs with 8 men in the box has sufficiently put the defense to sleep and Dobbs tosses a flyer to Malone.

I want to see a play where Hurd and Kamara are split and both run to the opposite outsides. Fake a quick handoff to Hurd, pump fake to Kamara and then hit the TE up the middle or an open WR.

It would depend on an improved Oline for at least 3 seconds of no pressure. I think they are improving game to game.

I just seems like a witty play using our stars as a clear misdirection. Someone would have to be open.

Houston called this, along with slant routes multiple times in last night's game,

Debord calls it once in a game, whether it's successful or not.

Yeah I knew I saw it a bunch! It's not like we don't have 2 decent TEs either!
