I found this interesting. I was playing college basketball on xbox 360 online the other day. Of course, I was Tennessee. The guy I played used Kansas. At halftime, I was down by 11. I was getting killed inside. Out rebounded and outscored and everything. When the second half started, I pressed the heck out of him and in like 30 seconds, I was down by 3 via two lofton 3's and a chism layup. The rest of the half I played "inspired" basketball and ended up winning by 4. Its a boring story but what got me was, it seemed so real life because it was like my team started out hustling his team and my team wore his team out by running like crazy. I knew on games they can make good teams good, and have great stats and everything. I didn't know that they could give Tennessee the heart and hustle that we are fortunate enough to see almost every time they play. I know it was off topic, but thought I would share. Go VOLS!!!:rock:

I get beat by East Tennessee State on 2K8:lolabove:

Guess I am just used to EA.

FWIW: Kansas is one team that would have no problem running with us. They, like us, are very deep and tiring them out would be really hard to do. On the other hand, it's crazy how realistic these games are getting now. I was playing EA the other day on a PS3 and a plasma tv. A buddy walks in the house and asks who's playing. It literally took him a min or two to figure out that it was a video game, not a real game.

it is crazy. but i wasnt saying kansas couldnt run with us, just saying tennessee played like they do in real life even though it was a game and i was controlling them. it was crazy.

I have a ps3....I actually think the 2k8 is a little better game. I dont play much online though...that could make a difference.

I know, I went and saw them play JU here last Fri. It was a good game and the Bucs pulled it out.

You know Gerald Sensabaugh plays for the Jags here. He went to DB, then played for ETSU until F-ball got abolished. He then transferred to UNC, and got drafted by the Jags.:good!:

Yea...me and some friends play Call of Duty 4 online with him alot...especially this past year since he was hurt...he's hilarious...

On another side not...Teddy Gaines coaches the DBs here at DB too...

I dunno if thats somthing to brag about considering I used to call him Teddy "Big" Gaines, becasue of all the big gains the WRs would make on him...lol, im too funny...:eek:lol:

Yep, I think they beat the Vols 3 times since the 60s. I was at the game in 92(?) when they beat TN in Knoxville.
