#Vols edge rusher Roman Harrison on beating Florida: It was very overwhelming. I've been wanting to beat them since I got here and when it happened, it was almost as if I couldn't believe it.
#Vols d-lineman Bryson Eason on film review with the coaches: It was very critical because we have a lot to work on.
#Vols OL Javontez Spraggins on Hendon Hooker: There's a lot to say. That's a guy right there. He works day in and day out, and always puts his team in a position to win.
#Vols OL Javontez Spraggins: We're just trying to prove to everybody that we're one of the top teams in the SEC.
#Vols WR Ramel Keyton on his diving catch against Florida: I got a clean release and when the ball was in the air, I just stretched out a little bit. Said he caught a ton of deep balls over the summer so it was like it was practice again.
#Vols WR Ramel Keyton: Last year, the quarterbacks and wide receivers didn't really work much together. But this offseason, it was completely different. We were always working and it's showing.
#Vols WR Ramel Keyton on why he didn't transfer when he wasn't playing much: I wasn't working as hard as I could have been working, so I couldn't have been mad about my situation. I had to reevaluate what I was doing and get to work.
#Vols WR Ramel Keyton on Tennessee's offense: The most exciting thing is that any receiver can pop off at any time. And we throw the ball a lot. It's just a lot of fun.

Love Keyton's wording. Especially on the transfer question. Come here to work and show out. I believe this guy has a great year being the #1 next year and will likely get better every week until Ced comes back. What has me going is this is the 2nd guy to say this type of thing. Our goaches have gooten these guys to buy in and believe. They are putting in work and its paying dividends for us and the next level they are working for.

If these coaches have already made these players respect them and care about them so much as to have genuine self- evaluation and focus as 18 to 22yo young men....that speaks volumes as to how great these coaches are....

The world around them, the NIL, free agency in the league....all these things are SCREAMING the exact opposite. That life is all about ME and I better get MINE NOW and worshipping in the man in the mirror. If these young men are bought in enough to push out all that NOISE from all around them...and focus on getting better everyday, and the TEAM not the individual....wow. Just wow.

This culture we have now is a winning culture. It is a championship culture...and we can have great teams year in and year out as long as these guys see what Coach wants for them and this program. Recruiting will take care of itself because of the family aspect at UT and our success on the field....we are so blessed to have this staff finally at UT.

GO VOLS!! BETTER EVERY DAY.

Is there not an allergy doctor among the VN faithful who can provide coach some relief? If feel for him fighting the East TN allergies - the worst thing about our part of the country. I struggle with some of the same and it’s crazy how quickly it disappears every time I get on an airplane and travel elsewhere
