Who do you think will have the best performance overall?
Will Josh Malone continue to lead the pack? Any surprises?

I chose "Other". I'd like to think that Malone, Jennings, or Williams will go off, but I'm not sure Dobbs will have enough time to do anything other than screens to Hurd or Kamara. Hope I'm wrong.

I chose Malone. Unfortunately, 2 catches for 25-30 yards is likely gonna do it.

I voted for P-Dub. His quiet first three games will be a blessing in disguise if Florida double-teams Malone.

I think we'll see Malone targeted at least 3 times on deep passes as he'll most definitely be in one-on-one coverage versus Tabor or Wilson.

50-50 balls are not a bad option versus UF's defense. You have four possible results and two are good for the offense; completion, pass interference, incompletion or a long interception. The trick is, can UT's o-line give Dobbs the 3 seconds or so that Malone will need to actually run a deep route before getting blasted by UF's pass rush?

I went Josh Smith, he's consistent and they'll look to take Malone away IMO

Look, no offense to Josh Smith, but why do so many talk about how consistent he is? This isn't to bash Josh at all, just to ask an honest question about this perception by so many.

Now, I think he and all the other WRs have been done a severe disservice by Azzani and the general structure and philosophy of this offense. That being said, here's the truth about Smith and his performance while at Tennessee.....

23 games played, 46 catches, 637 yards, 4 touchdowns....that's 2 catches and 27 yards per game and a TD catch about every 6 games. In 9 of those 23 games he's tallied only one catch. His 3 most productive games at Tennessee are 5 catches for 58 yards, 4 catches for 56 yards and 4 catches for 50 yards. So far this season, in 2 games played, he has 1 catch for 3 yards.

Please don't read this as my blasting Josh Smith, that's not what this is. I think with better WR coaching and better offensive scheming, Josh could've already put up much, much better numbers. My post is only to point out that the constant refrain I read on here about Josh's great consistency simply isn't borne out by the evidence.

Pass protection is virtually non-existent and they'll look to neutralize Malone. The run game and quick strikes to Byrd, Kamara, Wolf, Jennings and Smith with an occasional vertical stretch would be my approach

History says the team with the best rushing yards wins this match up, so I am not predicting any one receiver to have a career day. I would like to see all contribute for a first down, those would be good numbers!

I expect a few picks and a pick 6 thrown by Dobbs. But Appleby should also do the same.

We are going to find out a lot about just how good Malone ,is goin up against two NFL corners. Tabor may be the best in the country.

I voted Malone. He's UT's best WR and it ain't close.

But the guy I expect to make the biggest impact receiving is Croom.

That "team with the most rushing yards wins" stat tends to only cut one way.....Florida's. If Florida rushes for more yards Florida wins, while if Tennessee rushes for more yards, Florida wins.

History.... seems to say that's only true when UF has the most rushing yards.

UT dominated rushing last year 254 to 109.... and still lost.

Head says it will be Malone, heart says it will be Jennings. Jennings plays with a mean streak I want that kid to get the ball and run all over the smaller Tabor a lot this Saturday ... as in cleat marks all along his arms type run over.
