I have a feeling we'll play George Washington or VCU in the first round.. We'll see on Sunday, but I'm very confident we'll be the 5 seed slotted in Lexington taking on one of the two schools listed above.. We will not be the 6 seed playing in Columbus as Lunardi suggests in his update. If I'm wrong, feel free to bash and criticize me to your liking.:shades:

If UT's a #5 seed, then it will be the second year in a row that UT has been over-seeded in the NCAA tournament.

I have tickets and would absolutely love to see that, but I think you have to be at least a 4 to get to play that close to home. Then again, you never know what the committee will do.

You think there are more than twenty teams that deserve to be seeded above us? Especially with our wins, and SOS and RPI.

I think he's weighing that first round loss on Thursday a bit too much.. The committee will reward us for another stellar schedule with some big wins on our resume. They will also factor Lofton's injury when they see those three losses during that stretch of the schedule..

You have to be a top 16 seed to be placed at a geographically beneficial site. A five seed will not have UT playing in Lexington. This team doesn't deserve that benefit.

If Tennessee could play in Lexington, I would seriously think we would be a legit final four contender, just because it is near to home. If not, I just hope we can make the sweet 16.

we play one of the hardest schedules in the nation and come out on top in a majority of our games. i feel we are alot like last years lsu team where we played alot of tough games early on and lose some win some and now our freshman play like a seasoned vet. alll im saying is this, are team may be the most dangerous team going into the turny. we are at full strength, took alot of peoples best shot, and have hung with the best in the country. we beat texas who is going to win the big 12 today, beat memphis who hasnt loss since we played them, lost by 1 to ohio state who is about to recive a 1 seed, beat flordia who is about to be another 1 seed.

who is going to shut us down in the turny?? espically in the first round. we will not lose to a mid major, last year i can understand just for the fact that we hadnt been in the turny for so long and just getting their was great. now its expected of us to compete in it. no one wants to ply the vols, you best believe that.

If we lose to a mid major, I'm going to blame you for jinxing us :)
