Tennessee vs. Western Kentucky Game Thread

Great stat here.....

Dave Serrano becomes the first coach in 101 years to start his UT career 4-0 and just the third to do so in school history.

I thought Saberhagen pitched the ball really well coming in a tight spot.......Hopefully its a sign of things to come from the lefty.

The WKU contention of grandmas and beauty pageant dads were really upset about the missed tag call in 9th.

I actually looked away missed it. I heard a commotion in the stands on right as I guessed several fans saw the alleged miss. The ump at first made the safe call right away.

I thought there was a chance that three talented newcomers while be better than some of the returners. Thus far that had not been the case.

As I said preseason, this team will go as far as Steckenrider takes us. He's our top bat. He's likely 1 or 2 best arm.

He is physically imposing doing both. You don't see many opposite field homeruns hit that far. Especially in the wind today.

It looked like the WKU batter was crowding the plate when it was tied with bases loaded which was smart in that situation. Glad we pulled that one out. GBO!

Great comeback win by the Vols, when I left home we were up 5-2 then we let the lead slip away. In years past we would have just rolled over but not w/ Serrano. Very good win. Looking forward to coming to the games this weekend.

WOW. What a game! I missed the end because I had to sleep but from what I heard in the 10th and 11th inning, it was very much like the cardinals in last years world series! Oh yea... We rolling! Wes Walker seemed to play well...
