Chism and/or Crews will have to step up tonight. Oklahoma State has a very very good low post player in Boggan. Hopefully Lofton will have another 30 point game tonight. Should be a good one.

It doesn't seem like the light bulb is just going to switch on for them. It's more like they are on a dimmer, every game they look a little bit better...
Neither one of them looked good against Western Kentucky. I read in the KNS that Chism had 0 points and 0 rebounds.

I don't think Chism has played nearly as well as I expected so far. If you take away his 3's, he has not done much.

True. It seems like the closer he gets to the basket, the more his shot misses. I'm not sure I've ever seen somebody miss that many shots from 3 feet away. Hopefully something clicks for him.

I may just be a glutton for punishment, but I think it's kind of fun watching the young guns grow into the job. Pearl will earn that paycheck this year...

Chism is thinking to much and Crews is still learning to be aggressive. I think they are going to take a beating tonight but it will be better for them in the long run. Maybe Romar Jujuan and the real "Iceman" (not clausen) Lofton can combine for 68 again. I think 68 would win it.

GO VOLS

I know this one is at home (Nashville) but I found it a little surprising that we are a 3 1/2 point favorite.... Especially after the beating they gave us last year. No matter what I love watching these guys and I will cheer them on until my voice is gone. Go Vols.....I hate that I couldn't be in Nashville but I will be cheering you on from Hooter's!

It's "Ramar" and I agree that it could be a tough game for us. Until we get better, it's going to take 30 from Lofton about every night.

OK St returns all the players that gave us a beat down last year. A win would be impressive in my book.

Yes I'm sorry, know it's "Ramar". I'm from East Tennessee, we spell things one way:)

Remember how physical last year's game was? I think we have the bodies to deal with it a little better this season. I'm nervous.

Vols are getting pounded tonight. I hope I am wrong but like I said, this game will do more good than bad win or lose.

I'm a little suprised at that as well. Hopefully the spreadmakers know something we don't know, because OK St. doesn't seem like an underdog in this one.

The oddsmakers aren't trying to predict a winner. They're trying to put a number out there that the betting public will put even money on each side of the line. The public sees UT beating Memphis and WKU in the last 2 weeks.

Agreed. On paper, Ok. State should beat us by a dozen or more. But you've got to think there's a little motivation to save face after last year. I just wish the game were in Knoxville - we play so much better there than at the GEC.

Pearl will coach better, if OK state returns every one of their guys, I guarantee Pearl and staff knows their tendencies by heart.

Tenn loses by 6 I think, but I will root for them every step of the way. Remember guys, this is a lot of freshmen on the court at any one time.

I'm a little worried that our guys might be a little tired or flat from the game on Saturday.

We need both Jujuan and Chris to make their 3's tonight.
