Yeah and it starts w Waters. I think the biggest challenge will be pressuring him and hopefully forcing him to turn it over. Which he can be prone to do .LSU has a lot of raw talent that plays very loose and undisciplined basketball.
If they stay away from the reckless mistakes they re very formidable. If not, they give you a lot of free stuff.
Yep, we have to keep Waters out of the lane best we can, absolutely keep him from getting out in transition, and then keep LSU off the offensive glass. They are a very good offensive rebounding team.Yeah and it starts w Waters. I think the biggest challenge will be pressuring him and hopefully forcing him to turn it over. That doesn’t mean they aren’t good at it. They are 4th in the country.I’m just not that sure they are great on the offensive glass. Memphis, LA Tech, Charleston, FSU, Houston, St Mary’s, ULMonroe, Bama, Ole Miss, Georgia twice, and Kentucky have all beaten them on the offensive glass. So in 12 of 26 games they have been beaten. Basically half. We’ve been beaten 13, also basically half. Common foes didn’t really help either as we basically split them. Most of their huge numbers in offensive rebounds come against terrible opponents. Naz Reid is a beast...but they don’t have much else as far as an inside game goes...good not great.
Yeah. Hes a match up problem. Waters getting his is not all bad if you force him to take more shots than normal to get it. We should match up pretty well with the rest.I think Naz will do his thing. Tough matchup for us. So the key will be guarding Waters
