Tennessee vs LSU for in state recruits

I noticed people from that area and parts of Sumner Co are transplants. Wilson and Rutherford still have plenty of natives.

Yes they are and it's ridiculous. Most I've come across are from the Midwest or California.

It's no wonder Franklin promotes it's southern/War between the States history so much, it's afraid it'll be forgotten. When we moved here, I insisted we get further south to be around folks like us. When I go into the grocery store in TN, I want to be greeted by a southern accent, not one from Illinois.

My nephew is an LSU fan. From what I have gathered over the years, It's basically cooler to root against the home team these days. (Without proper parenting to offset such idiocy). kind of like "fighting the establishment" in the modern era I guess.
Combine that with the unbelievable number of transplants in TN now.

On a sidenote, apparently there is some website about areas to move to.
If 4 seasons, low crime and friendly locals are your priorities, TN is first on the list.
I started asking the last few years, whenever I end up in conversations with non locals.

Oddest part: Shortly after they move here because they love it, they join local politics to help change it into how it was "back where they are from."

There is only one class with two five star d tackels that will make will make all other defense players look better due to their rush and that is UT. That is a train that takes folks to the NFL IMO.
