Tennessee vs Georgia

Our last elite team. 13 years ago! :-\

Had we not gotten robbed of the defensive TD on that terrible JT Mapu personal foul on Leak vs UF, we were going to run away with the game vs Gators, the eventual NC. Then Ainge goes down and we barely lose to LSU. Could have definitely won the SEC and challenged for the natty that year without those two events.

Ifs and buts ... I know. Still sucks.

That is in the past. I have moved on. What is in the rear view mirror doesn't matter.

We lost that game because we couldn't stop TEBOW running the ball....when everyone in the stadium knew what he was gonna do....

Bad calls didn't help, but all in all....stop TEBOW once or twice and the GOOD GUYS WIN

Watch and enjoy how quickly Ainge get's rid of the ball. Throwing darts and dropping dimes.

Thanks for sharing.....I have been Vol Football fan for many years and almost forgot how great these teams were even in down years.....A lot of heart on the field....

No he was not getting blasted, however he was releasing the ball in 2 seconds. Even on the blitz up the middle backed up in the end zone.

Yes the O line was huge.

No I have not moved on, it's what Tennessee football was and should be and we need to get back there. Soon

I heard Robert Meacham is still standing all by himself in the end zone in Sanford Stadium. It's just a shame that Hamilton listened to the malcontents who weren't satisfied with going to 3 SEC Championship Games in 8 years.

If you buy into quantum mechanics, then there is another reality where Fulmer was never fired. He retired in the year 2017, was asked to become AD for UT and he named Jeremy Pruitt as his successor. The obvious question is... why don't we live in that universe?

Initially, he was not chosen for the AD's job because of Board Control by the person that let him go in the first place. The Administration brought in a Fall Guy (Currie) and Fall Girl (Davenport) to make it look like it was her decision. It Stinks and I am glad that Fulmer hung around to take the seat. Would have been also satisfied with Blackburn, but time will tell...

At least we are in Phase 1 of stabilizing the program. It seems but we may not be light years away from building the program back to the Standards shown in this Clip.

At least we have an AD that knows what Tennessee Football should look like. I think he hired the right guy to start the process leading back to Normal Tennessee Football Saturdays.

We have drifted so far from this Video it is pathetic.

We looked so much bigger, stronger and physical then. Hoping thats the type of player CJP is recruiting today!

Oh just your typical 44-9 run to close out the game. That offense was something special. I sometimes forget how much of a mismatch Smith and Meachem were for defenses.
