By the way, going forward, let me know if guys like separate videos for offense and defense or if you'd rather just have one video which includes offense and defense.

WOW! Mind officially blown.

Look at the offensive line on the play where Kamara scores his first TD, about 2:15 mark of Freak's embedded video.

So starting five is: Kerbyson-Robertson-Thomas-Wiesman-Kendrick

On this play, the line-up shifts the RT over to the left of the LT, but caps the right end of the line with the TE:

Kendrick-Kerbyson-Robertson-Thomas-Wiesman-Wolf

So an unbalanced line with both Tackles on the left end. This is before any motion, before anyone pulls. Tackle-Tackle-Guard-Center-Guard-TE.

That's cool and different. I like it. :good!:

Notes

- These numbers might not all add up, but I tried really hard to get these right. It's very difficult to track every single thing right. Tomorrow I'll go back and review the film some more and make sure I got my numbers correct.

- Tennessee had six rushing touchdowns: Four were on double pulls, with three of those involving Coleman.

- UT did a lot of crashing the tackle in, then using the TE to seal the edge on sweeps and off tackles. Shows Wolf's versatility.

- A lot of the TE pulls with Wolf and Ellis were double pulls or were them being a lead blocker with a pulling player.

- On the final drive before the half, UT used the exact same formation every play. It was an "11" formation with Wolf as a slot receiver.

- On the long Kamara touchdown, Weisman had the key block. He took two guys on a pull and set the edge, while Josh Smith set up the block out wide to spring Kamara.

I only really focused onwhat our WR's were doing. As of right now, based on our WR personnel package, you can determine if if it's a designed run or not. And it seems like when we run it, all our WR's are blocking. I don't play football, but I would assume that you would need some of our WR's too at least act like it's not a running play. I feel like smarter CB's will pick up on whether it's a run or not. Our WR's need to sell it more.

I think being at the game and having the rain delay didn't really allow me to appreciate just how dominant the offense was. Just watching offense-only, it was a great performance. The 2nd quarter also didn't seem so bad when you see how easily the offense was answering BGSU.

I really wonder what the thinking was on the decandice game plan. It's hard to understand why we played so much press man and zero coverage against a prolific passing attack.

Thank you!

Being greedy: Is there any way to get the video of both that you were talking about?

Probably not. Sorry.

It's really one or the other since doing it both ways would be double the work for basically the same content, only in a different order.

All the deep balls were troubling, but what nobody is talking about is how many times we got beat on that flag route to the TE. There were times when the LB got caught looking inside and wasn't within 10 yards when the pass was caught.

Presumably to stop the run.

Which is exactly what I don't get. Why do you do that against a team that you outclass across the board? Seems like you'd play a lot of zone and let the athletes make plays. But what do I know?

After that drive, we had it pretty well covered though. That's on Curt and that's not his strength.

Thought the same. We looked pretty basic. It didn't appear that we went zone very many times.

I dont think Jones wanted that many yards or points put up but I think he knew they wouldn't stop us much. Which they didnt. It should make more sense next week. If we re still getting roasted on the corners with no over help it will become a worry. It may be that we feel like OU is gonna be more underneath and we are gonna man up on the WR and load up against the run. Guess we ll know shortly.
