Watching the 29 minutes vids, I believe I see why we had no sacks. That so-called new and inexperienced QB gets rid of the ball FAST. We penetrated often, but that ball was gone before he was even touched.

I honestly feel a lot better about our defensive line's performance after watching the condensed game video. I think we can all agree that it was not a flashy or overly dominant performance, but we pushed them back or stood them up on almost every single play. We only rushed 4 the majority of the night and they even kept their RB in pass protection too. I think we will see a lot of unique blitzes, stunts, and schemes in the coming weeks.

Also, I went back and looked at our depth chart. We have five guys over 300 lbs that can play in the interior and quality two deep on the ends at 245-260 lbs. That is a pretty big line.

I love watching the condensed version mostly because of the between play small talk that you get the tail-end of out of context... makes me chuckle--for example "I'm still worried about Cole's alligator" at the 6:29 mark.
