Tennessee Vols Basketball Recruiting

Awarded Most Reliable at the Peach Jam
Corey Evans and myself joked over text that Paolo Banchero might as well be called Steady Eddie. You can count on him showing up, playing hard, scoring at least 20 points, grabbing double digit rebounds and doing everything he can to keep his team in games. He just keeps getting better and he keeps remaining as reliable a player as there is in America. Banchero has heavy ties to hometown Washington and the Huskies are trying, but he is adamant that he's open and others are finally jumping in. Duke, Baylor, Kentucky, Iowa State, Memphis,Tennessee and Washington State are just a few to decide to at least take a crack at him.

The final full day of the lone travel live period brought a slew of coaches to the Hoover Metroplex for the adidas Summer Championship. The very best sponsored by the three stripes brand were on display as we take a deep dive into which coaches saw which of their top targets on Saturday in Alabama.
Sitting as the fifth best prospect in the 2021 class, Jabari Smith is completing his junior summer as a national target. LSU dispatched an assistant for his morning affair as the Tigers are the alma mater for his father who once played at the SEC program. Head coaches from Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kansas, and Ole Miss each were in attendance, as was assistants from Auburn, Louisville, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.

Auburn just landed a commitment from a kid from TN. Devan Cambridge. Unranked as of right now. Plays for Hillcrest in Athens. Originally from Georgia. 6-6, 190 and has offers from Vandy, GT, and WVU. Looks like he broke out during the EYBL circuit. Averaged 14.9 points and 5.3 rebounds during it. Shot 58% overall and 39% from three in the Peach Jam.
