Haven't really seen much game discussion for today's match-up. I get the fact that it is Memphis and all... but I'm much more excited about this game that most years because it's our best opportunity for another win down the stretch... and because we are ushering in the Tyler Bray era.

Couple of things I found about Memphis...

Team offense (yards): 115 out of 120 (Tennessee is 90)
Team defense (yards allowed): 119 out of 120 (Tennessee is 87)
Turnover margin: 112 out of 120 (Tennessee is 94)
Penalties: 74 out of 120 (Tennessee is 42)

Also, Memphis' leading rusher is Gergory Ray, has rushed for 497 yards on the season, or 62.13 per game with 4.6 ypc.

Poole is at 628 yards on the season, 78.5 per game with a nice 5.0 yards per carry.

Results for the 2010 season to date, 1-7 including:

@ Mississippi State: 7-49 L
@ East Carolina: 27-49 L
MTSU: 24-17 W
@ UTEP: 13-16 L
Tulsa: 7-48 L
@ Louisville: 0-56 L
Southern Miss: 19-41 L
Houston: 17-56 L

Definitely a game we should win, its nice going into the game as the favorite, its been a while.

There's not much discussion because I do believe everyone is aware of the crapfest that is this ballgame. but we will win in a route.

We are favored by about 20. We don't do well covering against Memphis St especially playing in Memphis. I'm not getting my hopes up for a huge coming out party for Bray. Hope I'm wrong

Tend to agree that we may not roll the Tigers. This is their super bowl, I doubt we match them emotionally and we simply aren't good enough to win blow out style if they bring an A game and we bring a C game, which I would expect.
