That report does point out something that isn't ever mentioned by the "We won the SEC East in a down year!" crowd....

"The Volunteers came into the year as an overwhelming favorite to win the SECs overall championship and make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament. Instead, the Vols struggled to gain a tie in the Eastern Division and were one-and-done in the NCAA."

Losing your team leaders in lofton and smith as well as your two point guards should never indicate a team that should be an overwhelming favorite to win anything. I think they put too much stock in Pearl's ability to coach instead of realizing how integral the three point shot was to our success as a team.
