Went to a Nephew"s wedding this past Saturday in Decatur County ( The ceremony was in the yard of bride's home on their family farm). When my wife and I arrived, the UT-Miss State game was being loudly played on a radio, on a John Deere tractor, with a bunch of young boys yearby playing football, each dreaming of becoming the Vol's next Peyton Manning.

I know this Norman Rockwell scene is played out every fall Saturday all over the South, but since I live in Alabama it was good to relive a part of my childhood in rural Tennessee.

(Go Vols! No Negavols or Fulmerites sweek, only "Beat the Hell out of Bama" fans.)

rockydoc, you have captured the sentiment I had when I chose my username after moving to Boston from Tennessee. Thanks for the post!
