Tennessee Summer BBall camp for my son

Hey guys...figured this might get a lot of views tonight since we are headed to the sweet sixteen!! Vol fan living in Texas and am thinking about taking my 7 year old who is a basketball fanatic ( and yes a Tennessee Vol fan like his daddy ) to the UT Basketball camp in June. Has anyone ever been to one of these before with your son? Being thats is $295 plus a hotel for us for 5 nights it won't be a cheap trip, but thought I would see if anyone had any experience with them. I think the experience for us both would be worth the money, but just thought I would check with everyone here first. GO VOLS!!

If you can see your way to do it neither of you will ever forget it. He's a tad young for the expense of the trip to justify what a little good coaching at home can accomplish. But it's more about a Wild Men's Road Trip and coming home with souviner hats, posters, autoautographs, memories, and enthuasium for the sport that will be his (and yours) forever. I did the baseball camp with my son at that age. He's still got the hat with Rod Delmonico & Todd Helton's autographs.
He's 26 now. It's still a big deal.

Thanks for the info...I've talked to him about it and I think just the chance to be on the Tennessee court and being around those coaches/players is something he thinks would be really cool. Not doing it because I think he will learn a ton..he's better than most average 7 year olds due to the fact that he plays every single day of his life. I think the experience for him would be great and then for me having a chance to see him doing it I was just curious if anyone had actually done it before. Thanks again

While that is expensive, he would remember something like this for a long, long time. I'm sure you'd love seeing your son having the time of his life too!
