Would love to see him be healthy and if he can play that’s a bonus. Seems like a great kid.

A post that shows regard for the man first and foremost instead of the man as a player given his medical condition.

I think at this point and time and with so much negative press that has occurred with players not being cared for properly (ala Maryland), if doctors weren’t a hundred percent confident that he wasnt healthy to be out there, he wouldn’t be. His condition is definitely one you can’t take lightly.

His condition could be fixed already for all we know. No one knows exactly what his condition was but it wasn’t hereditary. It developed over time. Yes it was clotting but no one knows what was causing the clots and if the doctors found a way to fix whatever was causing the clotting issue. He went to a specialist to fix the issue.

I agree with you if he wasn’t cleared to some degree he wouldn’t be out there even in light contact. No university is willing to risk that.

Dayum double posts caused by site not consistency indicating your original post is present and accounted for.

Unless you're a physician, and have personally examined Trey and his records, you just like me this morning, have not a clue what his condition actually is, and what treatments he has undergone and may be undergoing.

Not first, but first page. Do I get anything?
As a matter of fact, yes... yes you do. If you will provide account, routing, user, and password, we will make the appropriate changes to your account. You will be thrilled and your satisfaction is always guaranteed, so there is absolutely nothing to be concerned about.

Or unless you slept at a Holiday Inn last night as I did.

Pruitt indicated last week that Tennessee hasn’t filed the appeals as of yet.

I don't really know about the process. It may be quick and simple and not a big deal...

But is there a reason we are still waiting to file the appeals when other schools have already done theirs and got them approved? Just seems kind of odd.

Obviously I could be wrong, but IMO he wouldn't be in any contact drills if he weren't already cleared. I'm not sure anyone is arguing that he will play the whole year next year BTW.

I think he was trying to say that he doesn't think Smith will play at all this season, not that he won't play the entire season.

Honest question for you all:

In your opinion, is Tyler Byrd is bust?

No. Because unlike some fans who look for opportunity to give up on players, Tyler Byrd stayed with the team despite the flyblown, hot pile of doo-doo the program experienced in his time here. GBO!

The NCAA works at their own pace. It could be tomorrow or 2 weeks before the season starts before we know

He has been a bust in terms of potential but that doesn't mean he isn't a Vol/VFL. Sometimes, players don't pan out, no matter the 🌟 s. It's the nature of the game and it's a shame that fans hate on players that don't reach expectations, especially those that have the injury bug.

Smith is going to play isn't he. I really didn't think he would be able to,but it sure seems like he is. This young man is special

Still highly doubtful. In all honesty, I hope he retires and focuses on his education. Football isnt everything.

Since you have decided to make medical predictions, care to identify where you graduated from medical school and in what state(s) you are licensed today? If you went to university, did you not grasp the concepts of critical thinking and fallacies at all?

His experience of Football can be "everything" in terms of life style and career.

He has the talent in football to earn 10s of Millions of dollars if he is able to get internally healthy. He must exhaust ALL options before he moves on . He can't just give up...

He can put his family an a special trajectory most families will never have the chance to accomplish.

I hear what you're saying. And life>football. I agree, but Trey is of the rare percentile of folks who can actually get rich doing something they love. The coach's are aware of his situation. So I'm positive they are very familiar with his treatment and such...

Let's let it play out.

If trey was still on any protocol he wouldn’t be out there going through contact drills.

Ask all the questions you want. But if you dont understand the dangers associated with reoccurring blood clots in the lungs, then there is little hope for you in this respect.

I'm expecting Byrd to have a break-out season under a new offensive staff. " nothing succeeds like persistence". There's a reason he was a 4 star prospect in South Florida. Wishing him the best!
