JJ Peterson wasn't even at practice? That's alarming, I'm hoping that just means an injury.

This is from TOS

“JJ kind of got here a little late last year, so he was kind of behind a little bit. JJ learns well, too. He’s had a really good spring. He came out and ran around well, and the good thing with him is the offseason allowed him to get in shape. He wasn’t quite in the shape that the other guys were because he missed the summer and about the first month of fall camp.”

“He was able to run around and do a lot of good things. We’re really pleased with where he is. He’s had a good spring so far.” (Coach Sherrer)

It's unclear if Peterson will participate in Saturday's spring game.

Wonder if they think they might need to use Jennings at qb if Jarrett goes down. He's thrown more college passes than shrout or Maurer anyway lol.
No, JJ can’t throw a fit. Guessing it’s for some occasional (hopefully very rare) change of pace wildcat type stuff. Don’t need the gimmicky stuff imo....develop the young QBs and leave JJ out on the edge catching passes where he belongs and can beat help the team.

We all know how VN builds up someone in their collective mind only to tear them down when they aren’t the next Reggie White or Al Wilson.

It’s part of the learning process and expected for a kid that should be in high school. Crouch is probably just the rule and not the exception.
Or......based on how the players are evaluated and billed, the fans actually have reasonable, appropriate expectations, and generally react accordingly when the player(s) get nowhere near expectations and contributes little to nothing to the team.

Crouch has all summer to continue working on what he needs to improve on and fall practices. LB might not click for him the first game or second game but he will get better with reps and he will get reps this year.

Al Wilson was not Al Wilson in his freshman year

Crouch was billed as a five star only to be reduced to a four star following injury. The lateral movement comment seems to reinforce that rating. I stand by my original statement

2 of 4 for 62 yards and two TDs...that's a touchdown every other attempt man.
