Tennessee Softball 2027

They’ve done that since my one time fiancé played for them in the early 2010s. I assume that is something Ralph and Karen have taught their entire careers, I can’t remember going to a game then or now when they haven’t done that. It’s a little harder to hear with the large crowds that are now typically present at regular season games, but you notice it a lot at the early season tournaments, which has been just about the only time I’ve been able to see them play the last five or six years.
That's what others have said, so clearly must be the case. I've been to regular season games before, and obviously watch many others on TV, but I've never heard it before.

Maybe it was just that the stadium wasn't full, or maybe Emma and Meredith have stronger vocals!

Karley 2-run HR and a double, Elsa 2-run HR, Emma solo shot over the flags and white screen in CF, Sage 13 K, 2 hits, 1 run in 5 IP, 8-1 after 5, mass subs top of 6th and Peyton is in to pitch, Karley looks to be a very nice pick-up.
I don't think we have to worry about our third pitcher any longer. Peyton Hardenberger looked to be in peak form today. She has slimmed down, doesn't need the knee brace anymore and looks like the All-American she was in high school. Let's hope she can carry that on into the regular season.

Agree, looked fit and confident. Had some juice. If the freshman lefty Krause can give us anything we will have a nice staff.

I understand we’re still a few months left from the regular season, but our conference schedule is a gauntlet. What’s our chances to win the Sec this year? I personally think we finish maybe 3rd most likely 4th in the conference.

I believe our pitching will be excellent. How we fare will likely be tied to our offense like it has been for a long time. If hitting comes through, we will be contenders. If not, your forecast might be right.

Thanks so much for the updates..🤗
Erin Nuwer was her usual sterling self pitching in tonight's game. Five innings pitched and no hits given up. And by the way, Erin has gone blonde on us. She looks great as a blonde. Her hairdresser did a marvelous job. Her blonde look is very natural looking, not a harsh bleach-blonde look.

How many different pitchers got work today?

Two, perhaps three. Another poster said Maddie pitched after Erin and someone else may have pitched after that. I left after Erin got done pitching and north of Knoxville on I-75 it absolutely poured down rain, so I don't know if the game continued or not. The Lady Vols had it well in-hand regardless.

I left top of the 6th, so not sure who might have pitched after Maddie or final score?

I like that Karen has played girls at several IF positions: Meredith besides starting twice at 1B has had some work at 2B, SS, and 3B. Halle has played 2B, SS, and 3B, and Elsa has seen time in the IF as well. Never hurts to have some depth.
