New commit
With that spin rate she is on her way to being elite needs to be a little better, but throwing 70 and 1600 is really good. The tall, heat-throwing pitcher really blew up over the summer in travel events her Texas Blaze 18U – Robertson team played in, especially at PGF Nationals where she led her squad to a 3rd place finish with the only two losses being to the teams who made the 18U championship finale. Impressively, she did all of this when she was 16U eligible still.
...“What she did at PGF was just stellar against some of the top teams in the country,” marvels Coach Corey, “and she helped us to a 3rd place finish in the Premier Division!” “We went 11-2 with our only two loses being against the two teams that played for the National Championship,” the Blaze head coach adds, “and both our losses were by just one run (against the Georgia Impact Premier team, a 3-2 loss, and to the Arizona Rising – Appel squad, a 2-1 defeat).
For the prestigious event, Reagan pitched 36 innings with 46 strikeouts and had a 0.96 ERA and a 0.845 WHIP.
Pitching coach Kendra Pate: "She began training with me at MVP Pitching in March 2025 and, at the time, she was throwing around 62 mph with spin rates near 1000 RPM. Reagan had good natural speed and movement, but we had a lot of room to improve her balance efficiency, velocity, vertical separation and command of a change up. Today, Reagan is reaching speeds in the low 70’s with spin rates exceeding 1600 RPM.”

Never implied you had created “your own system”. “System of choice”, to reiterate the misquote.
Are you happy now? On3 is the most widely recognized platform in the softball world but I am impressed that you think I have come up with my own system.
Changing the subject somewhat but still on pitching, for those in the know, which freshman pitcher should we be keeping an eye on during the fall exhibition games. Who is most likely to become the number four pitcher in the Lady Vols rotation in the spring?Softball America also noted that this was one of the best fits of any commitment so far. Hopefully Megan and Karen can work their magic. A lot of people seem to think she’s gonna be a good one.
I don't know why Lady Vols softball has to schedule Friday's game with Walters State at the same time as the volleyball match with no. 7 Texas. Not fair to the fans. I would like to watch both but that's not possible unless I go to softball and watch the volleyball on demand. Don't want to do that, I want to see the volleyball live, especiallly a match of this magnitude.Changing the subject somewhat but still on pitching, for those in the know, which freshman pitcher should we be keeping an eye on during the fall exhibition games. Because the fall Softball games are scheduled at the teams’ convenience, not the fans. Although they certainly appreciate fans showing up, they are not fully staffed with tickets, concessions, etc. They don’t have resources to do that for fall Softball any more than they do spring soccer. Priority goes to sports that are actually in season, since those games count. Coaches schedule the off-season exhibitions around what works for them and what works for the opponent.I don't know why Lady Vols softball has to schedule Friday's game with Walters State at the same time as the volleyball match with no. 7 Texas. We have two Shelton and Krause. I would probably give neither the edge really don't expect either of them to pitch very much during the season. Mardjetko and Nuwer then have to hope Hardenbarger can effectively fill the three spot. As far as the freshman call it a tossup of which one will be number four. Shelton rated number 25 and Krause 34.Changing the subject somewhat but still on pitching, for those in the know, which freshman pitcher should we be keeping an eye on during the fall exhibition games.
