Nope their coach has been there 8 years

IIRC that article had the numbers from '25. Mizzou could be high from travel, they played the first 2 weeks in Clearwater and the 3rd week in Cali.

Team travel, scholarships and recruiting travel are the biggest expenses, followed by coaching salaries. Not surprised that Tennessee ranks high on that list, considering the travel they are allowed to have the first few weeks of the season while many other teams are only allowed to travel once or twice in the preseason for tournaments.

Just trivia questions. I remember reading several years back (10ish) when a woman bb coach thanked the very successful men's coach for allowing her to use the men's bb plane for her recruiting. now 2026 if a new plane was purchased - when would the costs be associated with traveling to a prospect's home. Does the athletic department purchase or lease its planes, or do they come from the overall university budget? or a gift from a donor?

very early in LV history the fans only supporting football were upset because tuition fund were (supposedly being used) to pay LV basketball bills. Every year the cries were on the deficits of the separate LV Athletic Department.

looking back at the legacy of PHS and the leadership within the LV athletic department she/ they were the pioneers to greatness, even with the opposition within the TN fanbase who only bleed men football.
