Karlyn is not a fan of the ump behind the plate, and I don't blame her.

Every spectator who sat behind the plate didn’t blame her either. Better than the guy at 1st who called our first game behind the plate. That guy graded at only 40% correct calls behind the plate.

Pickens had a difficult start with a hit batter and gave up a HR. But then settled in with 15K's and our offense produced with Dodge hit a great HR. It was a great day at the park.

Really glad we were able to avoid a trap game loss. PSU and App St have good clubs and will likely win a lot of games this season with their best pitchers. Also happy Meredith got an at bat in an important part of the game. We hit better in Clearwater against better competition (pitching).

We got a game tomorrow. Thus far this season everything has been good. One thing I would like to see happen is Makenzie become the full time first baseman. That leaves Faw, Rutan, and Clarke fighting for two positions.

Yes, she can, but not as well as Faw. Clarke is prone to making more errors and doesn't cover as much ground as Faw. I have to disagree with VolFan2012, I think Clarke should get just as much playing time at first as Butt. Clarke is a natural first baseman and makes a great throwing target at 6'1".

Should be an easy win, but Belmont isn’t a bad mid-major. Well coached, solid LHP in Maya Johnson.

I am slow to second guess any coaching staff that is on the ground daily with the team. The time for tweaking has passed. We’re heading into the meat of the schedule with an awesome bat on the bench. I can live with that.

Not necessarily, but players want to be there and cheer on their team. The training staff and docs basically dictate that.
