Pitching and fielding have been exemplary this season given who they’ve played. Only 6 errors so far and a .987 (avg) fielding percentage.

Defense has only given up 8 runs (7 of them earned) against the toughest schedule in the nation. Pitching has racked up 149 strikeouts while giving up 35 walks in 370 opponents at bats. Opponents are batting .143.

We’re 18-0 and Play App St tomorrow then Belmont on Tuesday. Belmont has a very good pitcher and if history is any indicator, we will almost always face the best other teams have. LSU next weekend at SPL to kickoff SEC play.
