I was told it was one Mega donor and TT coaches are indeed making overtures (with tons of dollars in their back pocket) to a lot of super talented players across the country including TayPan. They are going to shock some coaches if they are allowed to continue down this path with no obstacles.

They are going to assemble a super team, but then again there are only so many players they can take. Once Nija is gone they’ll come back to earth, even with all their money. As much as they’ll try, I don’t see how they’ll replace the best pitcher we’ve seen in the past 15 years.

Tech is clearly the team to look out for with regard to Pannell. From what i understand, Tech was not shy about talking to players during the World Series. Reiterating what I said yesterday, the expectation is that she will be entering the portal and any reconciliation with Tennessee at this point would be a surprise. However, as with any player, the ink is never dry until it is

From what I’ve heard they have apparently been talking with Pannell since before the WCWS

Why would there need to be a reconciliation with TN for Pannell. Are her a Karen not on good terms?

The new NIL rules make it easy for sleezeballs like Gerry Glasco to succeed. I know his daughter died a few years ago but that guy is still a sleezeball and always has been.

Tennessee wasn’t exactly playing by the rules with Pickens recruitment. Marty was an asset to Tennessee after he was let go (still on payroll)

If all you want to do is throw shots at this program and its coaches, why even be here? Why pretend you’re a Tennessee fan?

Tennessee didn’t tamper with a player on and active roster during a season to sign Karlyn Pickens. So it’s not the same situation at all. Full stop.

Old rules made it easier. New rules are suppose to tighten it up

Unless you were in Chattanooga at PGF in 2020 and saw first hand, not sure you can speak on it. Not sure that’s a shot of it happened. Full stop.

“Tampering” during that time was common practice nationwide at tournaments. A lot of conversations happened that weren’t supposed to. If you think they didn’t, you’re fooling yourself.
