Tennessee Softball 2025

So you think she left LSU to go “compete for the job” at another school in her final season? Yeah, right. She left LSU because she lost the starting job there. She didn’t transfer to go sit somewhere else. If you believe she did I’ve got some oceanfront property in East Tennessee for you lol

The irony is that UCLA has more NCs than any other school and they really were pioneers of college softball. The success of UCLA and Arizona (and the Pac-12 as a whole) is what forced the rest of the country to step up. But it's so much more popular now in places like the Big 12 and SEC (obviously some of those former Pac-12 schools are now part of the Big 12). You're correct in that LA is more about the Lakers and Dodgers, although USC and UCLA have no issue getting fans to come for CFB games.
It is a kind of a shame that the university that really started the massive interest and upward trend in college SB has poor facilities. You would think with more money than most universities have because of endowments, wealthy boosters, etc…that they would be top notch. I believe based on what I have read that there has been a disconnect over the years with the administration (president) and athletics. I suppose recruiting will always be decent at UCLA just because of the history and location. However, SB recruits really want to be mesmerized by a university’s facilities. Poor facilities is a deal killer for some top notch recruits. The SEC will continue to pave the way in SB because of the facilities, coaching, way of life, etc…Just simply the best!

Just look at all the players from CA playing for SEC schools. Best conference, great coaches, great fans and top notch facilities

Tanner is in the portal, but I'm not sure she's going to keep playing. She had told some that contacted her that she was considering enrolling at Texas as a student and not playing there unless they had an unexpected roster spot open up. She has some family and personal ties to the school.

Supposedly, her boyfriend transferred from Louisiana-Monroe to Texas one year ago and joined the Longhorns baseball program.

Wish the kid the best of luck. Playing softball in college isn’t for everyone. It’s one thing to lose a kid to portal, injury and it’s another to lose a kid quitting all together after 1 year. She took a roster spot for kids that would have gladly stayed or chose Tennessee over another school.

1. There's more than one starting pitcher in softball.

2. Patty didn't promise anyone anything other than the money in their NIL deal.

So if Kaitlyn Terry portals to OU do you still stand by that?

If you have oceanfront property in E. TN, you’re a bigger fool than originally thought.

The fool is you. You’ve shown that time and again on this board and it’s pretty obvious no one cares much for your bad takes on here. On top of that, you have made it more than obvious you have no clue what you’re talking about but carry on as you wish.

Berzon will be OU starting pitcher next year. Guaranteed.

Alyssa Parker might take over towards the end of the year if she’s as good as advertised

If she’s as good as advertised that’s a very real possibility.

Re: Pannell...unfortunately, I think she may be gone..we’ll know for sure very soon either way

You deleted your response about Pannell so I assume that means she's leaving.
The reports that linked her to Georgia a couple of weeks ago were completely false. I don't know for sure about today. Texas Tech has a lot of coaches worried right now because there doesn't seem to be a lot of regard for rules or decorum.
