we have no excuse unless we are dumb enough to not learn how to play defense and or can all of our current coaches, to not win it all next year. our talent on both sides of the ball will be unreal.

if we fire the coaches after the season. then tennessee football will be in an absolute downward spiral to hades. mark it down. players will tranfser, recruits will jump to other teams, and who will come and coach us?? i don't want gruden like everyone else. i don't care for dooley at this point but 8-5 will be ok though it should have been 14-0. but next year absolutely no excuses to not win it all unless we do something retard like clean house. then we might not win it all for 15 years.

Why are people so delusional? So, you're saying if UT(3-5) keeps the current staff they will be in position to win the NC next year, and that they should be 8-0 now but have just had some bad luck?

Talent wise we honestly won't be much better next year than this. Experience will be a large factor and we SHOULD be better, but c'mon man our schedule is an animal next year too

OMG this is a stupid topic OP. We have already been to hades and CDD brought us back to a clean program. The issue with CDD is he dont have that killer instinct or experience to win. thats all. We need someone huge to take this over at this point and finish what CDD has started.

well glad you folks hate my posts. anyway yes we have a tough schedule but that don't mean we can't win every game. talent wise we should be one of the best offenses in the country next year if everyone but hunter comes back. our defense is the problem and if they can fix it in the off season we will have a chance. if not then oh well. but i expect a national title run from tennessee every year. guess you people have lower expectations than i do. the coaches can only do so much. players have to have the will and want and know how to win. yeah we have not done that yet but we will at some point once we do look out, starting over will delay that for years. we are closer now than we have been in a good while if we could just get the defense to play simple sound coverage and tackle. oh well. my posts are alot better than alot of the garbage spewing on this site. if you can't see that fireing the staff we have will cause more harm than good at least as far as this season and next go you are deliousal. Tennessee needs as many wins as it can. at this point the more we lose the farther and farther we fall behind everyone else.

ROD WILKS is the only loss I see !! Lots of other players will now have to sit on cold benches !
