Tennessee Riverscape (almost done!)

Finally rounding third on this project. It’s been the most time consuming piece I’ve ever taken on.

I’m also making the frame for this one from a Tulip Poplar log (state tree of Tennessee) I pulled out from the banks of the Tennessee River near the stadium (I have a couple more surprises up my sleeve on that one).

Go Vols!

Clark, just referenced you in a thread I did for my basement this weekend. Nice work, Sir! Let us know when it is done. I will definitely get one.

Well hot dog there it is! Not sure if I’ll do prints of this one (even though it’s technically my most ambitious). It’s pretty expensive to have them made, so maybe I’ll do a pre-order first to ensure I recoup the cost. As far as the original goes, I’m open to selling it so long as I retain the rights to the image. I actually think it would be cool to share with some folks in the Vol Navy (and perhaps even find the owners of the boat in the foreground).

I’d be interested! Do you still use the Tennessee Prints email?

One other thing I could use some help on is the names any suggestions?

I’m leaning towards “Tailgating on the Tennessee River” but admittedly it’s not too strong.
