Getting way ahead of ourselves here but there is also a scenario where we lose the East and dodge the extra Bama game, and still make the playoff

The Third Saturday in October was once among the greatest rivalries in college football. It hasn’t been that for some time. Alabama was very down from 1997 to 2007. Tennessee has been very down from 2008 to 2021.

I doubt this scenario actually unfolds, but if it does, that’s a helluva way to bring the rivalry back to national prominence instantly.

People saying 10-2 would be a great 2nd year. Truth is 8-4 would be a better than 1st expected 2nd year, 9-3 would be a great 2nd year, 10-2 should be coach of the year hands down as it would be amazingly good. So many starters and key players left UT it's amazing he's done so well. Expectations for me were like. 5-7 or 6-6 year 1, 7-5 year 2. Coach H has FAR exceeded anything he should have been able 2 do.

I just realized that Derek Dooley is the latest former TN coach to take a seat on the bench of shame and serve as an analyst for the Tide this year.

There is no way in Hades that Alabama would make the playoff if we beat them twice.

And, the chances of us running the table are somewhere near zero.

That being said, I did put a little on us at +6000 after last night, LOL.

Wait where did Ga go ..because they had a bad game and just maybe took mizzou lightly ..how bout we worry about LSU right now ..if we dont we about to find ourself in a trap game

It looks like the forum is split about half pessimistic and the other half optimistic. I guess that's a good place for us to start raising the level of optimism for the pessimistic half. Our support and optimism should at least rank 8th in the country.The VOLS are so shouldn't we show the same level of support." All these negative waves are bringing me down ".
