Tennessee Offense

Just a thought ! I personally love our offense, but I would like to make one comment and a suggestion. I think we definitely need to utilize our tight ends more on offense. We rarely ever seem to throw to a TE. Please explain why, or perhaps I am missing something. I do not consider myself as a great offensive minded person, just consider this as terribly under utilized !!!!
Good reason why we just recruited some STUDS at TE. We have a top 100 next year and top-10 overall 2024 player suited as a TE.

Heupel is going to lean on what's available. Let's face it - we haven't recruited at the TE position in recent years.

I would have liked to have seen what Dominic Woods Anderson could have done in Heupels offense.

Apparently we just don't have a good backup option at Center and Mays was hurt. So, we probably leaned on our tight ends more for blocking. Just a guess. That said, we still don't. Hard to believe they didn't go for a big time center last year. Let's hope Mays stays healthy this year for his sake and ours. Apparently he is pro material when healthy.
