Tennessee now has Top 25 win

Bailey would have been enough to win simply because he doesn’t do dumb things

To be fair, we don't know if he does or not, we haven't seen him play enough. He over threw some receivers, that shows few game reps, no knock on him. More games will show his game management skills.

Mizzou is playing UGA this weekend so their stay in the Top 25 may be short lived.

Anyone a little worried that a first year coach, coach drink, has his team performing better than our coach in year 3?

New coach, same rona BS, better than cornbread.

I for one say it's time to move on.

Or 3rd, 4th, or 5th year.

Needs at least 6-8 recruiting classes of HIS players to show anything real

Any coach worth his salt knows it takes 8 to 14 years to build an SEC team.

Remember, Pruitt knows what championship teams look like. He has told us enough.

I thought if a team had a top 25 win, the team they beat had to be in the top 25 at game time, not months later.
Correct. Ranking are fluid, teams change throughout the season (just look at TN after week 2 as an example).

Doesn't count.

Overthrowing a receiver is fine and touch will come with experience. I thought he did a good job of making safe decisions I also appreciated the way he felt pressure and simply decided to tuck and run for a few yards. Chaney called an abysmal game and I’m confident if JG was in that he would have turned the ball over a few times. So far Bailey has impressed me with his ability to quickly scan the defense

Because we could’ve won all three games with a different QB
Possibly, but we still are unable to cover a puddle with a blanket! Until we fix our inability to cover slants and basic “pitch and catch”, it’s gonna be difficult to beat anyone.

Doesn’t mean Pruitt deserves another year.
Yup.

It's completely unfair to judge him off this year. He had a young QB. JG is only 22 years old. Needs more reps.

And then the defense gets tired too easily. So what they are out there all the time? Just do your damn job!

Yep. We're always told it takes 3 years for those kind of results, and that's with more talent than they have
That's by people that don't know $#!+...

Making excuses and have never coached a day in their life.

We could have had zero wins if it wasn’t for a crazy bounce against South Carolina and Missouri figuring out their QB in the second half lol. Crazy.

So would we vs UK Arky and Auburn

Not if Pruitt is still the HC.

Mizzou has legit improved over the season; we have not. And you can't just say "better QB we win"....because you don't know that. Being better than JG is hardly some high bar to clear, and the same coach who trotted JG out there would still be coaching the team.

I am impressed they made it to 25 with us dragging down their strength of schedule.
