I agree. Not a Duchenne smile. And I doubt "happy" or any version thereof is a frequent emotion for Kim right now, at least not when she's in her coach role. (Really hope she can shut that off when she's with her family!) Determined. Focused. Intense. Driving. Analytical. Competitive. And more. So, she may be very happy with Avery, but I doubt that's enough to get to her core right now. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't unwind until she see's next year's team actually performing the way she wants. And even then, it will only be back to what seems to be her normal intensity level.

I can't imagine she's getting much restful sleep these last few weeks. She's probably looking back on the days when she first brought her infant home and was bone tired and worried and paranoid she was doing everything wrong as the most restful, worry-free days she's had in a long time!
