I will say something controversial since were looking
for solutions and not finding any. I think we may need to get rid of the seniors on this team they may not be team players and may be causing more problems than the ones that are being solved. I saw very little hustle from them on a lot of plays throughout the season. I have seen a lot more intensity out of the freshmen and we don't seem to be able to win unless they doing at least half the scoring. We needed these seniors to be leaders and I don't think any of them are. So I will be glad to move on from them and it is the coaches job to replace them with the right type players that buy in much better than I am seeing out of this upperclassmen group. If these seniors can't play better and help us a lot more we’re going to end this season badly.
Don't want to dismiss any of them I don't think they are being overly disruptive just not leading and just playing within themselves to get by. Both Barker and Cooper should be dominating more in the SEC they are not playing at that level. They should be leading the team on the court. I don't see either wanting to do that this season. We need those two trying to score more and some others taking a lot of shots doing a lot less. You need to be specific. What senior(s) should be dismissed? I don’t see a reason to dismiss players before they’ve been benched and no longer are following rules/procedures of the team.
Now I agree some players need to be benched and not just to prove a point but to move on while being fair to the players that are committed.
I will see this though beyond some bad decisions on the court and at times poor chemistry there’s nothing I see that warrant benching players that are doing what they are coached to do. This system just is not a structured and efficiency based scheme. I think you let the coaching staff off the hook by portraying it as a players only issue.
You can’t gauge that until you see other teams attempting to play this style of basketball on the P4 level and have a model for its success compared to a traditional or blended style of play.
You will be complaining about players attitude or improper dispositions yearly as long as this system at its core principles of mass substitutions, launching 3s, and full court pressing strategy remains the same.
Definitely lottery picks!Don't want to dismiss any of them I don't think they are being overly disruptive just not leading and just playing within themselves to get by. I blame the coaches plenty for the way they sub and how they distribute the minutes. They need to light a fire under Barker and Cooper because they are the difference makers on the team. Neither seems to be doing what the are capable of for whatever reason. I know they have it in them just wish there was a way to get it out more on the court.
Massey is not the be all end all, but it predicts a 4-5 record in the last nine games. I lean more towards a 5-4 record with a decent shot at 6-3 if things turn around which is possible. But say 5-4 happens, that would be an SEC mark of 11-5. Even a 4-5 record as Massey predicts would be a 10-6 conference mark.10-6 is def top third in conference, meaning top 5-6 depending on tie breakers. 11-5 would be top 4.The upcoming game against Georgia is rated a Q1 game. As bad as things appear were 4 and 4 in Q1 games which is actually running similar to last season when we went 7 and 9. Neither Missouri or Texas A&M will be even close to Q1 so games on the road at Georgia and Ole Miss become huge. Games at home vs Texas and Vanderbilt should both be Q1 games have to see what happens to Vanderbilt in the next couple weeks. At SC, Oklahoma, and LSU are certainly Q1 but were huge underdogs in those three games.
With 7 Q1 games left we would have to win about four of those and not lose to A&M or Missouri to finish in top four of SEC. With A&M and Missouri wins three might do it would come down to tiebreakers. To host the NCAA we probably need six regular season wins or five wins and a couple in the SEC Tourney.
I know that doing any of this is going to be tough certainly our backs are up against the wall with the upcoming schedule. As long as we still have a chance to make this a good season I will keep hope alive.
This young lady is spitting facts

Agreed and it’s really starting to hit me that when Ruby was dismissed and Kim in the presser said down the line it would do the program justice I knew then it was controversial in the locker room and they have never really gotten it backI will say something controversial since were looking for solutions and not finding any. Hall is the best player in that class imo, followed closely by Edwards then Harpring. Vukosa will thrive at uconn also. I’m not a fan of Jerzy in spite of her going to SC as you all know. She is the most overrated imo. Hope I am wrong, but don’t think so, have watched too much of her to think otherwise.Oliviyah Edwards was just named on the McDonalds All American Team

Either of those two outcomes should get the LV’s a 4 seed coming out of the top ranked conference imo, esp with the expected #1 SOS by end of season. Net continues to rank LV’s high. This season still has some possibilities, good ones.. The end of season game vs Vand is a predicted UT win, that game looks very important right now and it is a home game for UT. UGA is a must win for many reasons but mostly to get back on track.

Critics abound after a loss. It’s woven into the nature of social media, and tends to get amplified by our fanbase. Not that other fanbases aren’t subject to the same phenomena but ours seems to take a certain pride in it.Just win, baby!
Winning silences criticism. (Of course, those folks rarely come back to analyze just what went right and where they were wrong. They don't have the intelligence, knowledge, or integrity!)
I won't say winning is everything. It's not to me. I wouldn't want Geno as the Lady Vols Coach if he crawled on broken glass from Storrs to Knoxville. But it sure shuts up the naysayers!
The guy runs a tight ship, and a well coached one. Has for over 40 years now, and a clean program. I get the rivalry hate, akin to everyone in CFB despising a Saban as an example. In truth, it would not take long for any fan base to flip their feelings quickly if that coach actually became their HC.Just win, baby!
