this article explains rule changes for next year. somewhat difficult for me to understand, the process and why it is to shorten time in the last minutes of a game. However, one rule I like is the "hot stove" touches allowed by the defensive player, versus the years of foul after foul for hand-checks.

Me too. LvObsessiveCompulsiveDisorder is my screen name, and my brain is stuck on turbo-drive with this group.

It’s not just the amazing new players I’m excited about and can’t wait to see in action, it’s the returners and how they come into a new season. And last but not least, I may actually be most obsessed with wondering what adjustments/improvement our bright, young, energetic coaching staff will bring in their second season after acknowledging there were some issues in the first season that will need to be addressed.

But as is always the case for every program every season, with each new team there will be games early on that they may look a little shaky, but I have a feeling this team will round out to being really competitive a lot sooner than last year’s team which was basically starting from scratch. We’ve got a good base already, so the staff will just be adding ingredients.

It’s going to be so much fun!

Yes to this! I'm excited for the returners too. They choose to stay/commit to TN when it wasn't popular. I want a Final Four for them!

I agree they might look shaky to start the season. We open up against a solid/ranked NC State team. It also wouldn't surprise me if they came out and made a statement. I'm hoping that even on a bad night, we'll be good enough to win ball games vs quality opponents.
