No matter who takes the job will struggle getting over the roster Butch left.... the recruiting loss from the fanbase uproar....

The only thing you can say about Tee Martin is he might not be ready yet?

Get Tee let him be the HC take these 2 years to learn and grow. If Tennessee is going to take these losses either way. So bring Tee home!

Get this right Fulmer no better time than now to let a young Tee Martin learn the ropes grow & have a chance to bring Tennessee back in 3 years!!!

The sad fact of the matter is that we have a pretty stocked offensive roster for a good X's and O's coach to come in and atleast have fun and compete.

Sadly, I feel like we are going to play the Butch "Compete in year 4" long game....

Stats show that in most cases you can tell everything you need to know about your coach in year two.

That’s what happens when you go searching at the bottom of the barrel for coaches.

We're getting toasted next year no matter who the coach is.

I'd love for Fulmer to bring Tee back home.

Offensive line issues and linebacker issues are MASSIVE PROBLEMS.

The SEC is all about the line of scrimmage.

Tennessee has some great talented athletes. Tennessee could complete in the big east for a championship. In the Sec no

We have no OL, no TEs, limited at the Qb position, not much depth at WR behind Callaway and Johnson. The ONLY place we’re stocked on offense is at RB.

Time to get bashed, but Kiffin wins 8 games minimum with this roster and schedule next year. Definitely loses to UGA, Bama, and WVU.

Florida would be toss up, but we would not lose to anyone else.

Enough talent on the offense for Kiffin to come in and fix the offense.

Stopped reading at the recruiting loss due to fan uproar. Yes, it's the fans fault.

You are correct. But let's hire Tee because he is a Vol, doesn't matter if he isn't ready. We can go 4-7 and 5-6 the next two years with him because we are going to struggle any way.

No it's not the fans fault.... the fan reaction was from 15 years of pent up rage from administrators at Tennessee.... and I will say justified rage

Make no mistake tho it is hurting recruiting.

Fulmer will not pull a trigger on a coach that UT was not their dream job and fled K-Town.

Yes, Tee & Phil talked in the last 18 hours & Martin told him he’d be interested in a few different positions

That's not true.

At the end of the day, JG is a 5 star QB with a year of playing time now. He didn't have a QB coach worth a damn.

Get him someone that is a true QB coach/developer and he'd be fine.

RB depth speaks for itself.

Receivers are deep. Callaway, Palmer, Johnson, Tyler Byrd are all more than capable to be SEC Receivers. That is 4 quality players there.

TE is a concern, but can always be recruited.

Get the right coach and get Cade Mays back in the mix and filling in the other 3 parts of the line will be fine. There will be growing pains, but hey, the right offensive mind can play around that.

There is more than enough talent on this offense to be competitive.

The obvious plus with Tee is the recruiting. Universally recognized as one of the best in the nation.

The problem with young coaches is typically an inability to surround themselves with experienced coordinators (with the exception of Dabo Swinney.) Who wants to be a 55 year old elite DC, working under a 41 year old HC newbie?

I do feel like having Phil helps in this area, as well as Tee being a Tennessee guy. If he's able to come in with a legit OC and especially a stud DC, let the guy focus on recruiting and running the program, and he could really find success here.

This can only mean it's a slam dunk hire as head coach. Tee would come as OC but not a few different positions unless the hire was amazing

My biggest problem with Tee is that if he is the OC, we are going to have to hire a QB coach to develop QB's but not call plays. That hardly works out.

Need to take a page out of Bill Snyder's playbook. Work hard on getting some JuCo's.

I agree with ya but even tee won't even be able to put this dumpster fire out in 2 years, more like 3 to 5.

The optimistic side of me says 2 years. I agree on 3 as a starting point.

The oline and linebackers are just shallow

Can't win in SEC without both of those
