I completely agree with everything said. Josh took a dumpster fire and turned it into a legit contender. 30 wins in the last 3 seasons. Beating Bama and Florida 2 out of the last 3 seasons. Getting us to the Playoff last season. We may take a step back this season but the future is brighter than it's been in decades. I truly believe he will get us back to the Natty in the next few seasons.

College version of free agency and his new offensive scheme really did help in his first couple of years and, last year’s schedule did wonders for our success but, it’s still early.

Took Spurrier six years. On the opposite side, Bowden reached the summit his first year at Auburn and was crowned. Summlin, Chizik, Malzahn, the fat guy at ND 20 years ago and many more do well in the beginning, catch fire then mellow.

Everyone agrees that CJH is a great person, has done a great job getting us back in the limelight and is likely the most likable coach in our history. A few games over the past two years were a bit too close for comfort, including Florida and Bama last year. We came out with wins, but I was concerned with how ultra conservative Heupel got. We could have come out on the wrong side. I hope he goes back to his aggressive mentality of 2021 and 2022. Playing not to lose always comes back to bite you. Ask Fulmer and Butch.

You simply can’t put Heupel or anyone else who hasn’t won it all in the top tier. Even some guys who have won it all didn’t belong in the top tier (Orgeron, Coker, Chizik). The top tier is for champions with sustained success.
So Kirby and Day. Edit: Dabo I guess too. That’s it though based on your definition.

I don't agree with the last few lines. Yes, he may have been more conservative the last two years. But, that is because he hasn't had the QB and WRs to score points the last two years like he had in 2021 and 2022. So, he had to rely on D and a great running game to win games! As soon as he gets a QB to put up the below 2021 and 2022 stats, he will be more agressive.

Here are Hendon Hooker’s career stats in college.

Disagree. A great coach is one who gets the most with the player talent with which he/she has to work. Bill Snyder is one of, it not the best coach of the past 100 years. I don't remember him winning a national championship and maybe not even a Big 8 championship but Barry Switzer, who coached against him, said he was the best of the century. And Switzer, who won 3 national championships during those years, went against Tom Osbourne who also won 3 national championships during the same time.

"Switzer once said that Snyder wasn’t the coach of the year, or even the coach of the decade — he was the coach of the century. What’s happening in Manhattan, Kan., is confirmation that Snyder needs to be considered not only one of the best college coaches of his generation, but one of the greatest college coaches of all-time."

How quick you forgot that our program was almost dead after Pruitt, how quick you forgot the black cloud of NCAA penalties that was hanging around our program for two years, How quick you forgot the many players that transfered out of our program and left us with a very limited roster, what Heupel accomplished in 2021 and 2022 was a miracle, and that miracle will continue this year!!!
