Tennessee has reached out to Missouri Seniors

I’d bet we get some d lineman from Mizzou before we’d get o lineman. That’s just my perspective though.
I agree. They have a good O-line unit and several of them will get a chance to go to the combine and earn a spot on a roster. They will not want to jeopardize that by breaking up the line and risking playing in a system that doesn't help their chances. The have a cohesive unit and they compliment each other in that system. If they move to UT they will have to learn a new system and maybe not be as noticed.

You are probably right. For the sake of argument... Come to UT where the line was atrocious, they have a great chance of starting here as well, and get a bowl game, with bowl practice, going into combine.

Agreed. There are some points that may sway a young man. But it may prove difficult to talk a senior into leaving a program that he has grown up in. If they are bought in it will be uphill sledding. IMHO skill players tend to be more likely to flip to another team their senior year than linemen.

PLEASE start a QB thread so you geniuses can argue back and forth. Is there any indication UT has reached out to Missouri seniors?

247 indicated as much PRIOR to NSD. 247 now reports we are all filled up, so unlikely to add anyone else, barring an unforeseen change.

Successfully running the ball in the SEC is kinda like working on the chain gang, busting rocks. It's hard work and you don't always have a lot to show for it. But it keeps you honest. And it does the same for the opponent's defense. It controls the clock, momentum, time of play, it protects your defense and it makes your opponent commit to the box.

Cheer up, getting 2 5* OL is exactly what the doctor ordered.
We needed 10 5* OL not just two once we get that then their will finally be zero excuse as to why our OLine sucks and that's assuming the 5* players live up to their star number

I will say again. Think of what the kid has had for coaching until this last year. The previous coaching regime would make any qb look like ****. Everyone loves Dobbs now although the entire time he was here most said he was terrible.
Dobbs has done a lot more with the same if not worse OLine... Let that sink in so what's Guantanamo kids excuse?

Not that close - Dobbs had some poor lines at times, but he never saw anything like this. We're talking historically bad. Guarantano's OL has been so bad that we had a stuff rate of 33% this year. Dead last in all of CFB....over the past 3 years! Just an example of how utterly weak the line became under Butch.

Stuff rate rankings (out of 130 teams):
2018 - 130
2017 - 125
2016 - 30
2015 - 55

Over the past 2 years we've rushed for an atrocious 3.55 YPC. 2016 we ran for 5.15 YPC, 45% more each carry. That means we went from 32nd nationally to 108th. Having no running game makes a maaassive difference.

ABSURDLY false. Brett Kendrick, Jashon Robertson, Coleman Thomas, Dylan Wiseman, and Jack Jones. Much better than last year's OL. Proof is that we could run the ball on anyone with those guys. We couldn't run against anybody with last year's OL.

The obsession continues.
He was good last year. He will be the qb this year and next if he doesnt go pro. None of you have a clue.

Get over it or cheer for someone else. No point in bashing the starting qb in every single thread.
looooooooooooooool

That's easy to explain considering DOBBS done a lot of that running. JG on the other hand does not run and sucks at it when he tries.
