I would love for the band to do some sort of tribute at half-time. Maybe at the Battle at Bristol or something (since we'll have the most eyes watching). That's assuming the band is going (I really hope they are).

One of the greatest Coaches to ever walk the planet...in ANY sport. Tennessee was fortunate to be her passion.

Good thing the NFL can't do anything about this or I'm sure they'd find a reason to ban us from doing it like they did the Cowboys for honoring the murdered police officers. Very nice tribute, Vols!

The band's tribute to Summitt will be during halftime of the Ohio game. Band staff met with Tyler a few weeks ago to go over everything and get his blessing. Lee Greenwood is singing with the band at halftime of the VT game.

If that's the case then I'm disappointed.

I think that is a far less than ideal time to do it.

It is great that Coach Jones is doing this through the football team. Pat deserves every accolade she gets.

Not sure what FOTball is, but glad the FOTball team is honoring her too OP.

GO BIG ORANGE, IT'S FOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE!!!!!!! Almost anyway.

I would have liked to see a game dedication to her and incorporate the Lady Vols powder blue into the unis for that game. Like gloves and socks or something like they do with pink for breast cancer awareness.

Sticker is nice though.

It's only fitting that the first 15-0 team in NCAA football would have a "Summitt" sticker on their helmets.

We were also the first 13-0 team.

That's a great idea and there's still time. While they are at it, they could Checker Neyland with some powder blue, orange and white combination. Maybe a game with lower attendance such as Mizzou, Ohio or Tennessee Tech to get the stadium totally filled up!
