It was so nice to see our Vols pay their respects to Police Officer Kenny Moats, who died in the line of duty last year.

Yesterday at practice they presented a jersey to the Maryville police captain. So proud of the team!


CBJ dad is a policeman, and he had this to say:
“I think it’s very fitting to present them with a jersey because we always talk about being one Tennessee and one family and really that is what makes this state and community very, very special,”

We're supposed to honor the children killed in the Chattanooga bus crash at the O&W game next Saturday too

Nothing wrong with the football team building up some rapport with the boys in blue...you never know when it might come in handy!
