Been tracking this and with final 25 recent rankings updates and portal dust settled here is how the roster stands for the Spring group.

25 total roster is 57% up from 47% in 2024. (47 of 82 total)

O - 55% (21 of 38)
D - 59% (26 of 44)

Here is a position breakdown.

QB - 100%
Edge - 100%
DL - 71%
LB - 71%
WR - 71%
TE - 60%
CBs - 50%
OL - 44%
RBs - 40%
Ss/NBs - 11%

Did you use 247?
247 composite for HS and 247 portal rankings for our portal guys. There isn’t a composite for the portal.

So Jermod McCoy is a 4* who was 3 from HS and Amari Jefferson is a 3* even though he was a 4* from HS.

Been a while since I looked but doesn’t Bud Elliott’s true BC ratio only account for HS ranking? Or does he account for them being reranked in the portal?

We really need a team BC of 70% to win a natty without super elite QB play looking at last 20 years.

I think the Cam Auburn team and the two Watson/Trevor Clemson teams are the only ones that fit that. They were both over 50%.

So for TN to actually win a Natty this season Nico has to be transcendent. But if he is everything else is good enough.

We are building where hopefully by 26/27ish we will be at that 70 mark AND have that elite QB play.
