First baseman Rich Poythress went a perfect 4-for-4 with two home runs and four RBIs to lead top-ranked Georgia over Tennessee 12-6 on Friday night at Robert M. Lindsay Field at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The Bulldogs hit four home runs and pounded out 15 hits.
12-6 looks a lot better than that 11-1 score I saw in the middle of the game. It was a much worse beating than 12-6. 1-6 SEC record for a team with radio ads promising to be in the hunt. Just lovely. It will probably be 1-8 by Monday.
We're awful all the way around. I've saw the Vols play sparingly and haven't been to a single game this season(watch on the net) so I'm sure someone can give in-depth analysis.
