No. 29 Tennessee took a 6-1 lead into the sixth against No. 8 Alabama, but the Crimson Tide rallied for six runs over the final four frames to hand the Volunteers a heartbreaking 7-6 defeat on Saturday afternoon at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

were you there? there was a BS call that put it just out of reach for us

That call didn't help, but the terrible bullpen, absolute terrible play in left (should've been an error) did them in. And bats going cold, not being able to bring in a leadoff triple...the list goes on. That one missed call did not end it for them.

It'll take this season to finally shake all the Raleigh the Retard stank off the program. It blows my mind how bad that idiot was at baseball.

true, but that run was the deciding run. You didn't even mention the 2 strikeouts that weren't

What do you mean? If you're referring to the outside pitches that had been called all game, the plate guy called that pitch every time. Players have got to adjust.

Our baseball program is not getting any better

The problem with measuring improvement with this team is that we play in a league where almost every team is a top 25 caliber program. They have had some flashes of brilliance this season (the series wins over Vandy and Arizona State), but clearly there have been setbacks, too, such as yesterday.

When you pair that with the absolute rock-bottom that this program had reached under Todd Raleigh, you have all the ingredients for a long-term rebuilding project.

Give it time, man. Rome wasn't built in a day.

And the united states didnt defeat England in a month.

Tony Larussa considered a topnotch baseball manager but the cardinals didnt win a world series until I dont know what season of his managing the cards but I know it didnt happen in all the big mac years a long time.

Lack of patience there are fans that want that instant amazing turn around like Harbaugh in ofirst season 2011 with the 49ers.
That worked for the fact Harbaugh is damn good, same roster a talented team that prospered under the right coach.
Not all teams have that large advantage plus some more problems that just the wrong coach makimg the turnaround a long one with turbulent waters.
Im not saying all fans just somethinoticable.

I was referring to the 2 wild pitch strikeouts that Houser couldn't corral so they turned into baserunners instead of outs
