BREAKING NEWS out of Knoxville, TN. Former UT Defensive Line Coach Jimmy Brumbaugh was offered to the SEC Football Gods as a Sacrificial Lamb on October 18, 2020. However, it was not till just after lunch today that the body of Coach Brumbaugh was found. According to reliable sources, in a cloak of darkness just hours before the sacrifice began, the lamb was stolen. Bobby Daniels, a 3rd year Engineering student at UT who is from Knoxville and played football at Bearden HS, smelled smoke as he walked past Gibbs Hall at approximately 1:24 PM today, Tuesday October 20th, so he walked around the back of the Athletes Dormitory and found Coach Chaney devouring the near entire lamb that he had been grilling for a bit. Also found adjacent to the scene was an empty 2lb container of Kroger cole slaw, 3 remaining Bojangles Biscuits (box of 12) and three half drank gallons of Bo's legendary Ice Tea. Coach Chaney is holding student Bobby Daniels for questioning. No further details.

He was having players on the roster cold calling the parents of recruits. Slacking during games. Not holding players accountable...etc. Would have to listen to it again to give the spin justice.
I’m assuming the 1st example is a possible recruiting vIolation? I may try to listen the Volquest if I can find it.

Bo Davis at UT would be an absolute stud. He is a players coach and helped BAMA start their dynasty. Also, he is really good with recruit$.

Hints were dropped on the Swain event that Tosh Lupoi would most likely be the new DL coach once his punishment from the SEC expires this year. He has a few others that are possible, but the first call will be to Lupoi.

How many times did TN defensive line bat down the ball on a Stetson Bennett pass compared to the Bama defense? This was something I just realized. The GA QB throws the ball so low no excuse for not batting them down.

Heard Pruitt went to brumbaugh in middle of the game and got on him for something about the DL and brumbaugh told him his DL can’t do anything if they are always on the field because we have a ****** quarterback and both got into it and was final straw for him

Where did you hear that? Just people talking or a credible source?

***IF***that is true, good for Brumbaugh. I would have said the exact same thing. Wanna pay me 600K to go home? Cool, but truth is truth.

Ridiculous. Someone on the offensive side, maybe. The defensive Lind did not lose either of games this year. Those losses lay entirely on the offense.

My biggest question is how Pruitt made such a mistake hiring Brumbaugh? Does he make the same mistakes getting recruits?

It has been said several times that Brumbaugh was Ansley's pick.

Don't you think the final approval is from Pruitt?
Yes, but the rumor was Pruitt left it to Ansley in affect rubber stamping whatever choice he made.... Do I believe that? I don't know, it sounds unlikely, unless he respects Ansley's judgement enough to leave the chouce to him... 🤷‍♂️
