Tennessee Better Worry About Vandy Not Florida...

In 2007 Ole Miss went 3-9. In 2008 a brand new coach took Ole Miss to the swamp to play Florida. What was Ole Miss' chance of winning there with that first-year coach?

that difference had more to do with the quarterback change than the coaching change IMO

Yeah they better watch out for vandy's bowling team, i hear they're scary good, lol. We dominated vandy with our worse team in history. Whoever wrote this is wishful thinking.

Walker Valley High in Cleveland has a great bowling team. I believe that they could take Vandy!

Unfortunately yes, Vandy has a better chance of beating us than we do of beating florida, and most independent observers would probably agree.

Comical. UT worries about Vandy the same way I worry about whether there's enough paper on the roll when I sit on the toilet.

Come to think of it, that analogy pretty much defines the history of UT -vs- Vandy.

Vandy has beaten us more recently (2005) than we've beaten florida (2004). Vandy has played us closer the past 2 years than we've played florida. Vandy made it to a bowl last year and we didn't. Florida won the national title and we finished with the most losses in Tennessee football history.

I'm all about hating on vandy, but we aren't the Tennessee of old right now... thank God we appear to be on the way back.

That is why I agreed. chances of Vandy beating us more likely than us beating Florida.. I do recognize there is a chance of us winning though (I been there when we had no chances, Florida 2001, Miami, 2003, ND 1991, Miami 1985, etc.)

He also said that one of them (maybe the same coach) said UT is closer to being the Oakland Raiders than the NE Patriots.


It sounds like some coaches are in for a rude awakening when this thing gets rolling!!
