Because saying "they might not be that good this year" is a long way from saying they are awful. That comment just stuck out to me, and I called it strong hyperbole, which you seemingly now admit, it was.

If you had said UNC might not be as good this year, it probably doesn't stick out to me.

While disagreeing with you, I was being civil in discussing it.

Especially being out on the west coast, I get there are Vol fans everywhere but seems more likely there’s either a connection to Banchero or English.

I lived in the Seattle area for seven years, until this past February. There is even a UT alumni group in Seattle that gets together for games. With Boeing, Amazon, and Microsoft being headquartered in the area, there are quite a few UT grads and fans around there.
