Tennessee adds former Oklahoma OC Seth Littrell to offensive staff

I think that was more that they were missing their top 5-6 WR's. What offense would be a dumpster fire that the WR and other offensive injuries they had.
I'm willing to bet the field in Norman was a culprit in most of those injuries. Whoever they paid to take care of it should be sued.

He was kept to continue to run Jeff Lebby's offense and he runs a form of Kendall Brielles offense. Oklahoma just didn't have the players to run that offense because there QB went to Oregon and WR's was hurt. Seth Littrell will be a good fit.
They were banged up on the O Line too. That field in Norman was criminally bad.

There's also a certain HC in the SEC who may decide after the next year or two that being a HC isn't for him. Jeff Lebby... he was Heupel's OC at UCF.
Anthony Tucker also is there. Some ties there as well to our staff

Another buddy hired? Hey, I'm all for being comfortable with those you work with, but I really hope this guy is a heckuva coach and/or recruiter. Gonna be interesting to see what we look like this season. This roster and staff is all on Heupel. Can't rely on Pruitt recruits anymore. Hope his buddies work out for him.
😂😂😂

Oh no! He wasn’t a good OC at OU and only made a bowl game 6 of 7 years as a head coach!…so how could he possibly be worth a spot on UT’s staff as….<checks notes>…an analyst?!

You’re REALLY having to stretch to make this a negative thing. Analyst positions are usually filled by young guys getting their first job in coaching. We got a guy who’s been a successful head coach and has a myriad of
experience at P4 programs. As an ANALYST.

I swear, some of y’all would complain if we hired Bill Belichick as an analyst because he was fired by the Patriots.

Seth is a super hire with successful head coaching experience and definitely a trusted advisor for Josh. He and Josh both were scape goated by OU their Alma mater and have some grudges to settle.

A while back I made a claim that said UT absolutely needed to hire another offensive guy.
Not fire anyone but just hire another offensive mind that can help create breadth to offense.
I like the Seth hire. I think he could work his way into being another Golesh.

Honestly if we had Golesh last season than we beat Arkansas and probably don’t play Ohio State rnd one. We might have went on a run in the College Football playoffs.

Heupel always seems to make adjustments when they matter.
