in Andy Katz's initial '09-'10 Top 25. Other SEC Teams: Kentucky=12, Mississippi State=21, Ole Miss=22.

experience being a factor? any word on who's coming back yet? i can't get my head around this team being a top 15 team....yet. you?

I'll do a Top 25 when the deadline to withdraw for the NBA Draft has passed. I don't anticipate Tennessee being among the first 15.

The point of preseason polls is zero, null, zip. Morons throwing out early top 25's before players declare is about as intelligent as obama bowing to the saudi king.

For you to be very educated on most every UT sport. You appear to be clueless when it comes to Bruce's success at UT. UT has been to 17 NCAA tournaments total. Bruce has taken UT to 4 in a row.

Have we faired well in the NCAA Tournament?...NO But, there aren't many other coaches I see doing the job he has done for our university. If, we land some top talent consistently. And, I see it happening. Bruce will take UT to the Sweet Sixteen consistently. How many basketball programs with our track record over the years can say that?

Last year our guard play lead us to a SCHOOL RECORD 31 win season and number one ranking for a short week. Yet, we lacked physical play inside. This year we really didn't have either. A coach is only as good as his players. UT needs more Scotty Hopson type players!

Jerry Green went to four NCAA Tournaments in a row. Don DeVoe went to five consecutively. In the era of 64 team fields, it's no great accomplishment.

Take it up with Karl Rove. He's the one who was trying to explain why nobody should criticize Bush or Obama for bowing to an oil tyrant on Fox News earlier this week.

Ok Hat, you know everything there is to know about UT sports. The rest of us should just take your word as the gospel of UT athletics, NOT!!!

Bruce will take us to the NCAA every year he is here. Is it a great accomplishment, maybe not. But, no other coach in UT history can say as much!

I am not saying there aren't better coaches out there. But, can you name three or more who would actually consider coming to UT to coach?

I am out of here. You guys finish the argument amongst yourselves. Some of us in the forum have a life, unlike others!
